Emotional Healing: Love and Understanding — A Virtual Reality Watercolour Exhibition by Australian and New Zealand Women Artists

This exhibition, themed Emotional Healing: Love and Understanding, invites female watercolor artists from Australia and New Zealand to convey the emotional power of love, understanding, healing, and hope through transparent watercolor. The exhibition will be held in the virtual reality metaverse, breaking physical boundaries and connecting global audiences through contemporary expression.

Additionally, 20 international exhibition slots will be available, nominated by IWS global chapters, inviting international female artists to participate, promoting cultural exchange and artistic resonance.

Exhibition Period: September 1, 2025 – September 30, 2025

Opening Ceremony: September 1, 2025 (Online Release)

Submission Deadline: July 31, 2025

Selected Artists Announcement: August 21, 2025

Preview Open: August 28, 2025

Watercolour artists identifying as female residing in Australia or New Zealand

International slots are open to female artists nominated by IWS global chapters (limited to 20 artists)

Medium: Pure Watercolor

Size: A3 (297×420mm) or A2 (420×594mm)

Each artist: Up to 2 artworks, with a maximum of 1 artwork selected for the exhibition

Submission Materials include:

  • High-resolution artwork images (300ppi)
  • Artwork title and description in both Chinese and English (not exceeding 100 words)
  • Artist’s name, country/region, resume (optional)

This exhibition is free to participate in for all eligible artists.
